GroomPrivacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026 · This is the same Privacy Policy shown inside the Brido app (Settings → Privacy Policy).
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number, profile photo and the details you add to your profile.
- ID verification: your CNIC number, date of birth, photos of your ID and a selfie. These are visible only to you and Brido admins.
- Listings: the photos and descriptions of items you sell.
- Chats and offers: messages and offers exchanged between buyers and sellers.
- Payments: payment proofs you upload, your payout account details, and records of orders, holds and withdrawals.
How we use it
To run the marketplace: showing listings, connecting buyers and sellers, holding and releasing payments, verifying identity, preventing fraud and keeping deals safe.
Who can see it
Other users see your public profile, your listings and your reviews. Your phone number, email address, ID documents and payout details are never shown on your public profile. Brido admins can see order, payment and verification details in order to run payments, listing reviews and support.
When you delete your account
Deleting your account removes your profile, profile photo, ID documents, payout account details, listings, notifications and wallet record, and deletes your sign-in account. Your listings are removed from sale, and your name is replaced with "Deleted User" in past chats and orders.
For legal, tax and fraud-prevention reasons, records of completed orders and payments are kept with your name replaced by "Deleted User". These records cannot be used to contact you, and they are never sold.

Your choices
You control push notifications per type in Settings. You can block any user from inside a chat, and manage blocked users in Settings. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, subject to the conditions in the Terms of Service.
Security
Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with access limited to the systems and admins who need it.
